adjustments

 Too many.  Widow, loss of best friend, loss of child, loss of job -- all in a year and half.   Of, I also had to put my cat to sleep.  Loss of my youngest son is what gets me the most.  So sad.  So many tears.  I miss him so much, and so much reminds me of him.   I am sewing a bit again though, and that good.   And I spend time with Steve now too which is good.

I'm not much of a blogger. I just found this blog again so we'll see.  Now I have to figure out how to upload my pictures.

Snow day yesterday and today.   Basted two quilts and I am finally quilting again.  

Moroccan tile quilt

My favorite quilt so far.  I hated to part with it but, alas, it was always intended as a gift.   Of couse, I have fabric to make one for me.   Now I just need time.

Frustration

Working on a Cotton Theory quilt.   I've made at least five before with success but I just don't like this one too much.   My high class sewing machine doesn't like going through the layers so I'll just have to use my workhorse Singer to attach the pieces.   Maybe I should have stuck with the Jewel Box quilt I was working on.   Oh well, this too shall pass.

Thanksgiving

I want to wish everyone a happy and safe Thanksgiving.   I hope you all had the opportunity to get together with family and the day turned out to be everything you hoped for.
